This was a terribly executed video if it was staged. The excitement level was like 2.5/10.
Regardless, this is a very cool tradition and shows how different hockey is from a lot of other North American sports.
Edit: As far as the Crosby jersey, he’s been the Penguins’ franchise player and team captain for almost 20 years. He’s one of the best players to ever play in the NHL. No wonder die hard Penguins fans and season ticket holders have his jersey. My 12 year old son has a Crosby jersey (DHGate special) and we don’t even live anywhere near Pennsylvania.
