the geography of Maverick is such that people just love to stop there once they get out of the Wasatch Front or right before they want to arrive to the Wasatch Front. It's the new Beaver and traffic around there is just a mess.
The fact all of you know that little Fillmore Utah has cheap gas is proof that you are all stopping there. I live close to Fillmore, so personally I love all the traffic because we've seen a lot more restaurants move in. In Beaver, you have the creamery, and that's about it.
Fillmore is getting a nice selection of fast food places now, which is good for us (although I'd like some more sit down choices in the county, but we will take what we can get).
Honestly, the traffic the new Maverick has received is probably why Loves chose to build a big station there. When it was the old gas stations, nobody seemed to want to stop, they'd push to Beaver, but there is something to be said for having large fuel stations with clean restrooms and an easy place to fill up (and park) a truck and camp trailer.
What I don't understand is why Fillmore doesn't invest in some EV charging infrastructure. Maybe Beaver is a better stop for EVs regardless, I dunno.
