At our first practice, I asked the kids what positions they've played before and what they like.

A few said running back. So I decided to have the whole team race at different distances and do different drills. My daughter won all of them easily. Was pretty exciting to watch. She's never done flag football before. Just gymnastics. And one track meet one time.

We've had one game and after the first couple plays the other coach could see that my daughter was the fast one of the team and kept a couple of guys close to the line of scrimmage and played Zone behind them so that as soon as she took a hand off they were there.

So I need to get more creative in how to get her the ball. Some of the ideas in this thread are actually good and will help.
