1. Most importantly, this is far more than just a BYU sports board. It's largely a board for middle age guys with a Utah and LDS connection who lean more conservative, if not in politics, than in family and general lifestyle. We talk about sports a lot, not just BYU/college football, as well as discussing travel and money and politics from a certain POV, and the board big enough to have different viewpoints while being small enough you can get to know posters.

2. Ute fans come here because there's lots of talk about the Utes. There are sometimes snarky comments from Utes about BYU, but I don't really see people starting threads about how much BYU "sucks" in the same way Utah sucks, Wyoming is a cesspool, the Aggies play in Ogden, the Pac12 is the worst, wokeist, deserving to die organization in the history of sports, etc. Compared to outgoing smack, the incoming smack is pretty tame.
