rooting for Jake to get hurt. I turned around and said “are you really rooting for a 20-something year old kid to get hurt?” he replied “I think he’s like 34”. I said that that didn’t make it any better, even if it was true. He said that the reason he was rooting for him to get hurt was that our “OC is an idiot and the backup QB is much better.” I told him he was an idiot and then we moved down a few rows. Best part was that they left before Bohanon got in the game.

Side note: once Bohanon was in the game many BYU fans near me were yelling out that he should be the starter. I wouldn’t classify that as rooting for Retzlaff to fail, but it is a weird sentiment to have about your 3-0 starter.
