I've used both, both are fine.
XFinity piggybacks off the Verizon network so I've found coverage to be better in rural areas. For my usage (not unlimited) Mint has been cheaper. Both are great in metro areas. I've used both internationally in Europe, no complaints with either. I have had some issues getting XFinity to honor a promotional rebate.
