The older models with Windows 10 or 11, 14" screen or so and SSD are very cheap. Check online with Walmart for a Dell or HP or something cheap but very serviceable.
Costco has advertised monthly coupon sales on laptops for very reasonable prices. A bit more than Walmart but a more expensive laptop for a good price.
