decision making problem. It's something he needs to improve on and I think he will with continued practice, working on this technique and reps. But if you look at the ball placement even on plays that are technically successful because they completion was made, you can see a lot of "misses." Look at passes to the RB on swings where the ball was caught, but a little behind the RB in a way that took the RB's momentum away and ability to turn the play into something better. Lassister would probably also agree that its an issue if you look at the passes to him.
As someone on some podcast or broadcast said (not my original thought), "Retzlaff can make every throw on the field, he just can't make it twice in a row." That a bit dramatic and a bit of an overstatement, but it's pointing out an issue that is generally true and I look forward to seeing him get better in that regard.
