Used to do this. I kept a pad and paper nearby. I would go into the bathroom
And sit, do my business, and list everything. Get it out of my head and onto the paper.

That let my anxiety drop, because it was no longer trying to hold on to all those random thoughts.

After 15 minutes and a hand wash, I'd go back to sleep for a few more hours.

After a while, my brain caught on for the most part and stopped bothering me until I woke up.
