My problem is that my mind isn't racing about important things. It is always these random thoughts that keep popping in my head about the dumbest things. And I'm wide awake before I realize what I'm doing and then it takes me about an hour to fall back asleep.
I've tried meditation before bed. I've tried journaling. I've tried doing creative things like crossword puzzles. None of it works.
I do this about 2-3 mornings per week and then I'm so exhausted the next day that I can sleep a little better.
