this week will be more telling. close games against bad teams happen for every team every year.
Texas barely beat houston last year. USF was beating bama in the 2nd half last year. bama also only beat auburn on essentially a hail mary. michigan barely beat maryland last year. washington won 15-7 against arizona state and only beat WSU by 3.
and those are the teams that made the playoffs.
