We had ours shipped & didn’t pay CA sales tax.I think the rule is-wheels aren’t supposed to hit the ground.We pd cash.

It will depend on the dealer, but there should be no reason you have to pay California sales tax and for sure

In CA, the seller owes and pays the sales tax to the state.
