100% agree with this.

I was at a sports bar in Scottsdale because I'm an Eagles fan and my best friend is a Packers fan, but I also wanted to watch the Cougars. So we thought, the sports bar would take care of it, of their 50 screens, it was probably 35 on Packers-Eagles, 10 on the D-Backs. 3 on the Cougars. 2 on some random MMA or boxing thing. The place emptied after the Eagles-Packers, only to fill up a few minutes later when the nearby high school game ended.

I think if SMU and BYU weren't up against the NFL, the numbers would have been higher, but the NFL is a huge draw.
