I'm not sure on that. My understanding is that PAC2 is not auto in new 12-team
playoff, but would have to be highest ranked non P4. So, I don't believe those teams have it any easier.
I believe it's a good move by former MWC teams. The name has more appeal and they get to pick some of the better brands in the conference. It's kind of what we did when we helped form the MWC, moving over from old WAC.
