did think it was worth seeing though. It made me laugh a bit and kept me entertained; but it's nothing special. My son (who hadn't seen the first one) and likes a lot of movies didn't like it as much as I did.

You don't need to see the first one to follow the plot. I think it would be more entertaining for someone who had seen the first one though.
