“durability, longevity, and consistency.”
You responded with a “haha” post with a link to Ropati’s career stats.
I observed the stats and noticed that Katoa had over 2x the workload per season. This is relevant to my original claim about durability. He also had a higher TD rate (6 fewer touches per TD to be exact).
You asserted (with no evidence) that Ropati has faced a tougher SOS.
Again, I dismissed that claim at a glance. Almost half of Ropati’s touches are against FCS opponents.
Now you’re resorting something like, “well his career isn’t over yet!”
So then you’re pretty much admitting that he has a lot of ground to make up on Katoa. Katoa was a durable, consistent, reliable backup for 5 seasons. Ropati is a senior and he’s recorded touches in 8 games! 😂😂😂
I like Ropati a lot. I think he’s performed really well for us in a couple of key games. He is not at the level of Katoa, especially with regard to “durability, longevity and consistency” which was my original point that you responded to. I hope he has a really nice year for us.
