Even if they liked them and had confidence that they could step up,
they ignored the injury history with both Ropati and Davis. Ropati has been injured and unavailable 75% of the three seasons with BYU and Davis at least 50%. It should be no surprise that they are banged up already, now they must depend on Nawahine and a couple of true freshmen for the unforeseen future.

I'm hoping that Haunga will see the field sooner rather than later just to get a look and see what he can do. I'm not saying he's going to do what LJ did for BYU last season as a true freshman but maybe he can provide another wrinkle to the offense while LJ is down.
