You can’t verify it isn’t a virus though… you test for flu and Covid if you are
Going to consider treatment like paxlovid or tamiflu. If those tests are negative, you shouldn’t get antibiotics just because they are negative. There are dozens of viruses that can cause similar symptoms that we don’t test for.
