- We were a 11 pt Dog to SMU at home
- SMU was killing lesser teams at home. Scoring 50+ on them average.
- SMU did not play well against P4 teams on the road the last few years.
- Based on Vegas prognostications, they considered us a lesser team.
- Our defense played well and dramatically held SMU under there typical scoring average at home.
- Our offense did not play well at all. A lot of terrible 3 and outs, poor play calling, and not protecting the ball.

What does it mean? It’s a good win, and we should be happy that we got the win. I think most everyone on here recognize this was not a great win. We need the offensive play calling to improve, and Jake to stop playing lose and free with the ball. Hopefully they can get some of these things worked out. I still think the team wins 6 games this season.
