But, if the fans are not there to the level we saw last night, well they are not a legitimate P4 school. To me, you'd need to be embarrassed at such a lack of support. For all that is holy, BYU was picked to end up 14th of 16 schools in the Big 12, but they were still able to sell out their game against a FCS school with twice the capacity. This was SMU welcoming another P4 that they had never beaten, riding a 9-game home winning streak, and they could not sell out their game when their stadium only holds 32K.

As is said, the proof is in the pudding and this proof indicated that SMU is not a P-4 level school. They're just buying their way in.
