Arod also said in CC that they do some of these plays on purpose to set up 4 dn.
That they aren’t always trying to get the first down on the third down.
But I am with you. Stop throwing behind the line of scrimmage on 3rd and 5 or less. Almost never succeed in those plays.
Arod is a terrible OC and play caller.
