And superstar modes so maybe it's specifically road to glory that is lacking

The road to glory feels empty and soulless compared to the superstar experience in Madden. The gameplay feels better (controls better seemingly), the AI seems infinitely better.

I'm enjoyed playing RTG, but now playing superstar mode it makes me not want to go back to RTG again...
