Not all of those play calls are the wrong calls and neither you nor I know which read Jake made on the throws.
The routes that went beyond the sticks may have been covered and his only options were those underneath throws. The Defense has a say in how a play develops.
If the D is doing what they are supposed to be doing, they are taking away the line to gain and forcing throws underneath.
It's the running plays that I just can't wrap my head around.
