And so when he shows up to something like the all-star game where guys just want to show what they can do offensively, he's the odd man out. And I think a lot of the players see it as "he can't play ball if he can't score."
And yes, I know he contributes on offense (he's great at the screen assist, if you believe in that stat). But from a pure scoring standpoint, he's pretty much just a lob threat. And I think that's how most players judge the value of themselves and other players.
