If a "fee" is part of the end price and is not optional, then it should be included. Biden and others are mistakenly calling things "junk fees" or "hidden fees" that are not hidden.

I actually don't mind an airline saying that it costs extra to pick your seat or check bags. Because then I have the option of not picking my seat or checking my bags.

The reason I hate these fees is because they are not optional. Okay, it is an $18 "facility fee." Can I buy the tickets and not use the facility? Can you charge me more to get virtual tickets, but if I print them out on my own I'll save $18? Then I will do that.
