What is the argument for reintroducing them to the uinta’s?
I’d let the black bear population really establish itself first. There still are comparatively few black bears in Utah compared to California or Colorado
There are only around 4k black bears in Utah
There are 17-20k in Colorado
50-80k in California
Seems like the plan should be to have a thriving black bear population first
