way too often these days. Sounds like it could have been handled better and it could have been nipped in the bud with some quiet discussions with police and between the administrators at both schools. Looks like they blew it up bigger themselves, and then because it got bigger pulled the plug on the game.
The problem is that while this same crap happened in the past, no one was ever worried it would escalate beyond stupid people saying stupid things, even when a lot of people were acting stupid. But in today's society we tend to go from 0 to 100 at the snap of the fingers and so I can see how admin, with all of the liability their decisions carry, could take this line of approach. I don't necessarily agree with it either, but it is unfortunately understandable given the society we live in today.
