Pop out the inside piece of the door handle
You should be able to get it out without popping the panel off.
Pull out the interior part of the handle.
You most likely forgot to attach the metal bar to the clip.
Either reattach it, or manipulate it (pull/push) to open the door:

I went to replace a broken interior door handle on my Pathfinder. I'd done it

Today I did an oil change and somehow spaced out and drained the transmission

Can you get the door panel off without opening the door without breaking it?

I can't figure out how to open the door panel while the door is closed.

Depending on the car, it may be difficult to do without breaking the panel.

Made an appointment at the dealership. Had two recall fixes to take care anyway
