Kind of dumb for many Olympic sports, but that's a secondary concern. I think the Big Ten will ultimately add Stanford to help supplement the Olympic sports scheduling and travel issues for the western schools. With 4 regional road games or series for Olympics sports, the western schools will only have to send their Olympic sports teams on a couple of Eastern road trips each season.
