That’s really interesting to take half the reps away from the guy you know would be the starter.
Prepare your starter less so your backup will be better ready to replace him.
There is no argument to say that giving your QB1 half the reps is good for him. And the team. Now if you’re waiting for that guy to emerge and it’s a competition well that’s different.
