play video games. It seems like they're able to be really successful, own homes, have families, be pillars of the community, etc... while still enjoying video games. I also know men who are very successful who watch a lot of sports, which are essentially children's games that grown men play. Women often also don't like men watching sports. It seems to me, that a game being the "domain of boys" whether that's sports or video games, has no bearing on whether the enjoyer of the entertainment is successful or not.
