Neither the motion nor the objection include substantive details about either case other than basically pointing out the that plaintiffs, defendants, and counsel are the same for both cases.
Other than that, it’s a spitting match between the two counsels. They both briefly provide a summary of the cases (obviously very biased and untruthful by the Plaintiffs … but how is the judge possibly supposed to realize that), they both quote historical law to justify their positions, and they both provide their conclusions of how things should proceed.
So, I’m hoping the judge comes prepared but I’m mostly hoping she has an impeccable BS meter. I holding out hope that an experienced judge is able to see past the garbage and get a sense for the truth.
