Yes, I'm optimistic too, because why not? It's more fun.
There are probably really smart, well informed observers who can truly say they know how our team will do, but, honestly, I'm not one of them.
So I choose to be optimistic. IMO, being so negative before the season has even started is just a way to brace against disappointment. But we don't need to be such softies, do we? We are Cougar fans, let's put on the blue goggles!
