I think his effort and energy will provide him with decent playing time. He will
show the younger guys what it takes and hopefully it’s contagious. I hate to see players give poor effort and that was my issue with Jaxon last year. Seemed to coast a lot.
Honestly half the battle on D is simply effort. Most of these guys are high level athletes that can be decent to good on D if they focus and make the effort.
