loved his time at BYU. He loves BYU sports. He came to the Y and embraced everything about the university.
My non-football memories of Jim Herman are of him and Lee Johnson coming into a music-themed, short-lived Provo restaurant called The Press Box. I never saw Steve Young with Jim and Lee because Steve was as driven as a student as he was a football player, which Steve talks about in his book. Anyway, Jim is obviously another top notch player from the glory days of BYU football. It’s hard to believe that 40 years have passed since then.
