a much smaller National Rx employer became 1:1 in Merck when it was purchased. That was in 1989. Merck exploded in the 90s and 00s. Unless something like that happens to me in the near future his trajectory was a much steeper curve than my current trajectory.

My earning power is much better than his was; but he’s more than comfortably retired and enjoying life in his 70s
