So the price per square foot of a home would be less (inflation adjusted) now
than in 1980 if people just bought smaller houses and committed to only one spouse working?
If one person were to buy a small house for $X/square foot, wouldn’t a house twice as big with two earners making twice as much still cost $X/square foot?
