Don't spread your net too wide. Focus on going "all-in" on the top 10-15 guys
that you really want. Recruiting is all about being the first team to get the recruiting bar too the end of the committed bar, so if you spread your net too wide and don't put enough points on any of the prospects then you won't land any of the recruits.

Getting recruits to the "top 5" is key because that unlocks hard sells and soft sells. Hard sells and visits are much more effective than sending the house. You can use deductive logic to figure out a recruit's ideal hard sell even if you haven't unlocked all 3 of the things they care about yet. Also pay attention to your pipeline level with recruits as that acts as a multiplier of sorts.

After you land your first few recruits, what you want to do is then look at 4-star players (or 3-star if needed) that are not being heavily recruited yet and start targeting those players next. They are those usually in the the "Open" stage on the prospect list.
