One major eruption of the Yellowstone Hotspot deposited an ash and pumice layer

in central Utah that is over 4 feet thick. This was the eruption that formed Island Park, Idaho.

That being said, Yellowstone is not about to erupt and likely won't for tens of thousands of years.
