I would add Great Sand Dunes, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison
The whole southwest corner is really great. Starting with Great Sand Dunes National Park which has 750ft high dunes, then the whole area around Durango, Silverton, Telluride which has numerous 14k peaks. Follow that with Mesa Verde and finish with Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
