Talk to pretty much anyone and the problem isn't finding a place to live, it's finding a place to buy. Furthermore, buying a place now means you're probably overpaying and unless you're paying in cash, you're going to be charging really high rent to cover mortgage/tax/insurance, which exacerbates the housing crisis problem.
