...unless you plan to not rim-run them and instead have them work high-low together with one at the high post and the other in the short corner/dunker spot and space them on opposite sides of the key from each other and then go with 3 guys on the perimeter.
We ran into issues trying to make this work with Caleb Lohner playing the 4 a couple years ago with Fouss at the 5. Teams figured out quickly that they could sag off of Lohner when he was on the perimeter and pack it in on Fouss in the paint and also to defender cutters. Also when we had Lohner doing DHO's with Barcello out top, Lohner's man would often hedge Barcello hard as he took the dribble hand-off from Lohner and along with Barcello's man they'd double team the ball and force Barcello way out beyond the 3pt line out of scoring range and then quickly slide back to pick up Lohner again. This wasted a lot of the shot clock and put us on a short clock where we had to force shots that were defended.
That was no bueno.
