…always know where to be or what to do on the floor. It often led to him being a step slow or being out of position. Also he didn’t have great hands and the one play we ran for him a lot (he sets a screen out top then rolls to the rim and looks for an alley-oop) he often fumbled and had a hard time catching the ball.
Playing in the WCC was a nice challenging level for him to grow and develop in. The Big12 was just way out of his league. He’s going to do much better in the MWC, hope he has a great senior year.
Mboup is less of a raw project and has a much more developed game and especially a much better feel for the game.
