We've got an island camp out our YM love. It's public domain in the middle of a lake managed by a utility. It's first come, first serve, but we've never had an issue the time of year we go. However, despite all the signage by the utility begging people to keep it clean, there is always gobs of trash we've got to deal with. How hard is it, really, to take your trash with you when you leave?
There's probably some of what you say, as well, but reality is I just don't trust people on my property, even if all they are doing is "crossing" it.
And with all that said, there needs to be a solution here for crossing. Is it really that hard to leave an open pass-thru lane?
