I was an honors student and had never heard of AP before getting to BYU and finding out about it from other students

I don't know if it was just my town of Gallup or all of NM whose education system sucked or if just wasn't really a common thing back in the mid-80's, but I would've aced several of those AP tests back in the day. it could've saved me a least a semester of undergrad time.
