I know I’m no Hemingway, but I feel like I did a good enough job of explaining
that Pope should be a big fan of Coach Young, because many BYU fans, including myself, were very soured on MP when he left.
Due to what Coach Young has done, most of us no longer have any hard feelings at all against MP.
If I was in MP’s exact position, or in any position like that in my own profession or life, I would care about my legacy and how people view and respect me. But that’s just me.
