It turns out that it tripled its production budget so did well financially, but I was surprised to see the it got all kinds of flack for being “rapey”. Critics had issues with it. I personally saw Pratts character as a basically great guy, who was weakened by the threat of a life of loneliness, and made a big mistake, but had the opportunity for redemption in the end to show his true colors.
People are really judgey but only depending on which sin is being analyzed.
