That’s our plan. Both have full pension so together can live off them. We could get very close to paying off mortgage
with early retirement bonus. Thinking we’ll put that in a CD or something earning more than our 2.3 mortgage rate & keep the mortgage. We may supplement w/ a bit from 401 if needed for mission until we qualify for SS.
We met with each HR to see pension estimate then subtract tax & look at monthly budget. Should be fine.
