Like Jersey, We spend about what we spent before retirement. We aren’t saving as much per month, but we do save still. There are a boatload of new expenses at retirement, but I expect expenses to go down over time.

The expenses change, healthcare is a big change. Before retirement I was concerned about no paycheck every two weeks. Seven months in, it’s not a concern.

All in all, retirement is fantastic and we don’t feel lifestyle pinched in the least.
