The newer Ecoboosts are more reliable than the older versions but the turbos can still be an issue.

2016? Toyota 5.7 V8, even if you aren’t considering it. I’d go pushrod hemi or GM after that.

I drove a 2013 3.5L ecoboost for almost 10 years. I did indeed have a problem with the turbo, but it was like a $300 fix
